Should have called me. I've done this - twice. All will be well. The worst part is the recovery. Of course crying the whole time while they take your kid away, then worrying the whole time stinks too. But if you haven't had a kid with tonsil and adnoids out - just you wait. Prepare yourself now for barf, crying and NO eating. Nope, not popsicles, icecream or anytthing. Not even when they picked them out themselves. A treat, just for them. No, not even for bribes. Medicine you say? Ha. Someone tried to prepare me and I didn't listen. "Not my son. He won't be like that. He's pleasant and eats everything." Yeah, it was bad. You may get lucky. And you'll think things are fine for 48 hours. Then, beware. And prepare yourself now. And hey. If you prepare yourself for the worst - then if it's better than that. Things will be great. Good luck. We'll say a prayer. Let me know how things go. Love you. (sorry, this was not an encouraging comment. But, when Samuel had such a hard time, I felt very assured that this was normal. So, maybe it will help you too)

ReplyDeleteI will say a prayer for your family! I hope your Henry recovers quickly and you do not have a break down in the process. ((big hugs))
